As Greenwich village natives, we searched for the best short-term living during our renovation. abcstay had the most gorgeous apartment – a rarity in uber-exclusive downtown manhattan.
John Wattiker & Malcom Carfare
Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants, very walkable. The apartment is clean, spacious and as advertised. Rebecca is very friendly and accommodating. At first we had a little misunderstanding on the terms but resolved it quickly. I enjoyed staying there tremendously.
San Francisco, CA
Rebecca’s place is at a lovely location very close to the was square park and union square, we stayed there for a month and really enjoyed it. We really liked that the apartment has a high ceiling and and with washing and drying machine in room. It’s a walk up building but only needs two flights up, we were there with our new born baby and it wasn’t too much of climbing up.
New York, NY
Rebecca and Irma welcomed us at the right time, helped get into the apartment, provided a pair of keys for both me and my wife. The apartment was very well prepared for our visit—clean, light and beautiful. The neighborhood was just great, it is really close to Times Square but at the same time it is so quiet outside compared to Times Square, so you can actually sleep well at night in the city that never sleeps. I will definitely stay in this apartment again, and highly recommend Rebecca and Irma to anyone visiting New York. It couldn’t be any better.
Great host. Perfect location which has all you need- restaurants, bars, deli, gyms…etc. Only 5-10 mins walk to major subway line transportation. Highly recommended!
Rebecca makes u feel like u have a new friend in NYC, she is the perfect host; she’s not only concerning to have the best linen, best kitchen tools, furniture and services, but she is also constantly in touch with u to give u an advice on places to visit, places to eat, etc,. Great person, great host and lots of positive energy u can expect from her. The apartment has a great location; Eduardo two blocks away from Time Square, perfect for Broadway shows, very good restaurants and bars. Its three blocks away from the Hudson River, where the majestic Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, Pacha NY and Hudson Terrace are located. Nice view from the cant to the Hudson River and NJ, perfect for a picnic afternoon. Its 4 blocks away from the subway and walking distance to the Central Park. Even the neighborhood is very active the 46th street between 9th and 10th avenue is quiet to sleep well. I definitely recommend this apartment and Rebecca as a host.
Place was exactly as advertised and Rebecca and Irma are super helpful and always available. Can highly recommend’.
My husband and I had a wonderful time in NYC and thoroughly enjoyed Rebecca’s apartment. The location is unbeatable. 2 blocks to Washington Square. We both cannot get over how unbelievably quiet the apartment is. The Unit IS located on the back of the building, away from the street and looks out over a courtyard of sorts between other homes. The unit is smaller than Kate the photos portray but I’m sure that is the case with every unit. It was coZy and clean and we loved the balcony outdoor space. There is room for a table and four chairs. We enjoyed entertaining out there. We will be back to stay with Rebecca.
The host was very tolerant of my very delayed arrival time (weather-delayed flight), I showed up at about 2:30 am with no problems. The description of the place was accurate and the neighborhood is a great place to visit (very close to Times Square).
Apartment was in good shape, the neighborhood is nice and Irma catered to all my needs, there were a few issues at the beginning but she was quick to find me solutions. All in all it was a good experience.
